Because Mary is attending the 2010 Southeast Regional Barista Competition in Atlanta this weekend, there will not be a cupping in our Asheville Training Center Friday, February 19. Regular coffee cuppings will resume next week. Thanks!

And, btw, the South East Regional Barista Competition will be streamed live at usbaristachampionship.org starting Friday at 11 a.m.

The 2010 Southeast Regional Barista Competition will be held February 19-21, in Atlanta. The 2010 SERBC will be hosted once again by Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters and Everything Coffee & Tea, Inc!

Our Atlanta Regional Training Center is in the King Plow Arts Center, the same building as the main event, and we welcome attendees and competitors and coffee fans to stop by to practice or hang out and talk coffee.

Thanks to everyone who made last night’s Haiti Relief TNT a success. Due to the efforts of The Dripolator Asheville, Counter Culture Coffee, Asheville community baristas, judges, and customers alike, $200.00 was collected to be donated to Partners in Health.
